Join the River Town Program for a one-day paddle along the scenic Monongahela River from Point Marion to Greensboro. Beginners and experienced paddlers alike are welcome! The trip, approximately 6 miles, will include educational presentations, as well as an optional side trip up Dunkard Creek. Pre-registration is required and registration will end on October 14th, 2012 or when all spots are filled.

Children under 16- $10
Cost includes lunch, water and snacks, shuttle service, educational presentations, a commemorative t-shirt, and ACA one-day insurance.
Participants can bring their own canoe or kayak, but must have a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) launch permit, or rent a canoe from our Fall Paddle partner, Wilderness Voyageurs (details below). If you bring your own equipment please be sure to bring a personal floatation device for everyone in your canoe/kayak. All participants must wear an approved PFD on the water.
Equipment Rental
Don’t have a boat? No problem! Please contact our Fall Paddle partner, Wilderness Voyageurs, to reserve a canoe, paddle, and approved personal flotation device (PFD). Cost: $15/person. Call Wilderness Voyageurs at 1-800-272-4141 or 724-329-1000. You must reserve a boat in advance; no rentals will be available on the day of the event.
