According to the newsletter (contact [email protected]) the 1230 Room is a weekly work session meant to everyone a voice in the community. A platform for change as new ideas are embraced and discussed as well as a chance to make new connections.

One of the initiatives from this group is known as BAD Buildings Group. A small committed group of volunteers working now on inventorying the blighted, abandoned and dilapidated —BAD—- buildings throughout the city.
