Where Union Street goes under railroad tracks, after intersection with First Street; free parking in gravel lot behind sewage plant; limited street parking on Union and First Streets

Coal Center Public Docks

In front of the Coal Center Borough Building; near Dowler Park; Docks can be used for fishing. No overnight docking.

Fredericktown

Ten Mile Creek County Park
Public, fee required
Open to motor boats, canoes, kayaks
Located in Ten Mile Creek County Park; requires a $7.50 permit that allows use of all Washington County launches for the season. Contact Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867 for more information.

Greene Cove Marina

A full service marina with bar and restaurant; offers use of its boat launch for a $5 fee. For more info call 724-377-0358.

East Bethlehem Township Docks

Open to motor boats, canoes, kayaks
Behind the East Beth Township Building; Boats of all sizes can dock here with walking access to the business district, but there is no boat launch and it is difficult to take canoes and kayaks in and out here.

Greensboro

Glassworks Boat Ramp

Open to motor boats, canoes, kayaks
The PA Fish and Boat Commission boat ramp in Glassworks, across from the Ice Plant restaurant, at 342 Stoney Hill Road Greensboro, PA 15338, provides ample parking. Boat registration or a Use Permit is required. The docks and piers also provide a pleasant spot to fish.

Paddlers can launch their canoe or kayak at the Volunteer Fire Department on Front Street

Old Ferry Landing

A PA Fish & Boat Commission boat ramp, as well as public docks, are located in Point Marion Park, off of South Main Street. Boat registration or a Use Permit is required. The public docks are a nice place to fish.

Registration and Permits

All motorized boats must be registered with the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission.

Non-motorized boats are not required to be registered, but if they are using Fish & Boat Commission launches or properties, State-owned lakes and waterways, or Army Corps of Engineers properties, they must either be registered or have a use permit.
